Senior Treasury Accountant

At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Treasury Accountant within Eni Iraq B.V in Basra - LSC Camp. You will be responsible for checking then process the payments of all approved invoices received from Accounts payable department of EIBV/ ZFOD (Zubair Field Operating Division), post payments in SAP.
As a member of the finance department at Eni Iraq you will be responsible for:
Receiving and reviewing all the invoices posted by the accounting department of EIBV/ZFOD (Zubair Field Operating Division) Ensuring that all supporting documents are compliant in order to release the payment in SAP for due and approved invoices both for local and foreign currencies. Posting treasury related transactions in the company accounting systems (SAP) and ensure that treasury transactions are carried out and recorded in an effective and efficient manner in accordance with Eni Iraq B.V. Finance policies and procedures. Assisting in the preparation of the payment proposals. Preparing aging report of vendors and managing contact with vendors. Be a custodian of Petty Cash fund in USD and IQD and disburse payments when required. Posting in SAP entries of daily petty cash activities and preparing monthly petty cash reconciliation statement and monitor petty cash advances and solicit receipts to settle the advances. Periodical cash count in in accordance with Petty Cash Operating company Procedure. Ensuring all financial transactions have been accounted during the periodical closing activities. Be a custodian of Petty Cash Fund, disburse petty cash and keep record in accordance with Petty Cash Operating Procedure. Uploading payment batches to e-banking system. Ensure monthly foreign exchange rates received from bank are updated into system. Updating the contractual Bank Guarantees database part of the process of payments, approvals as per policies and procedures. Ensuring monthly foreign exchange rates received from bank are updated correctly into accounting system.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
University Degree preferable in accounting, business, management, or finance required. Work experience as an Accountant, preferably in Oil and Gas sector. Excellent knowledge of English Proficiency working knowledge in Excel and MS Office package. ERP experience in SAP /Oracle /Sun/Navision or similar ERP/ Accounting system
