Supply Chain Manager

Purpose and Scope: The Site Supply Chain Manager manages processes for supply, procurement and transportation management systems. Develops and implements plans and programs related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, movement, warehousing, inventory control, planning and quality control of supplies and materials. Develops program-wide policies and procedures to reduce costs, streamline processes and implement solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide visible and effective input for optimizing all supply chain functions within assigned program.
- Develops standard and integrated policies, procedures and reporting systems to ensure all work sites are providing effective and responsive supplies, and procurement as needed.
- Ensures all assets are accurately accounted for using Quicken and adequately stored, secured and safeguarded after purchase.
- Prepares reports, analyzes data and make recommendations for improving operations. Monitors the status of all program supply systems such as, Supply Management System(SMS) and Amentum Material Request Orders (AMRO) ensures all work is completed to quality standards such as, petty cash monthly reports for data analyzes and forecasting.
- Manage and generated Material Request Order for Purchase Orders for suppliers and vendors.
- Maintain, manage and submit monthly site accrual report to corporate Accounting.
- Manage petty cash to local paid suppliers; submit invoices and service request records to pay vendors using AMRO. Request petty cash using domestic wire forms.
- Ability to communicate in Kurdish and Arabic is preferred to communicate with local vendors
- Communicates regularly with all Supply Chain Management personnel in Dubia and Corporate Office.
- Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or associated discipline.
- Two (2) years’ experience in a related field can be substituted for each year of the four year degree requirement.
- Four (4) or more years’ progressively responsible experience in business management or related field.
- Prior experience in a high tempo environment.
- Working knowledge of modern principles of business management.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills (Arabic and Kurdish preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
- CONUS/OCONUS: Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable. Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Work could be in an office, maintenance shop, or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
- Potentially prolonged sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness.
- Must possess planning/organizing skills and be able to work under deadlines.
- Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
