E&I Construction Supervisor

E&I Construction SupervisorScope of Responsibilities
The E&I Construction Supervisor oversees and coordinates all electrical and instrumentation construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project specifications while managing resources, schedules, and documentation.
Primary Duties- Support the Team Manager / Lead that you are seconded to.
- Maintain effective communication with Team Managers
- Strong Health, Safety & Environmental ethos.

- Awareness of the big picture, and importance of delivery.
- Oversee E&I construction activities (power distribution, instrumentation, control system, F&G,, electrical equipment), including installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Develop and manage the construction schedule, ensuring that activities are completed on time.
- Oversee the allocation and utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment for E&I tasks.
- Ensure Tool Box Talks are structured, recorded & add value.
- Working knowledge of local Labour Legislation and Laws is required.
- Resolve queries or conflict on best practice.
- Detailed daily reporting and compile / receive handovers pre / post field breaks.
- Ensure that all E&I work complies with local regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Investigation Team member on HSE incidents.
- Identify and address any quality issues or non-conformance promptly.
- Lead and manage E&I Team and Subcontractors. Provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Oversee the integration of E&I systems into the overall project, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Ensure that required materials and equipment are procured and delivered on time. Verify that materials meet project specifications.
Minimum Job Requirement
- 5 to 10 years' experience in Petrochemical or Oil and Gas project/operations for E&I discipline
- Supervisor experience is mandatory
- Degree or Diploma (HND) in relevant technical discipline.
- Work to the highest personal & professional standards to achieve or exceed set objectives.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and embrace clients' charter values.
- Foster good relationships and team working ethic with sub-contract teams to promote safe working practices and efficiency.
- Experience of working in an integrated team from diverse locations required.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
