The BAS Technician will work at one of the Amentum sites in Iraq and support the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract for the U.S. Department of State. This role ensures professional and quality services meet program requirements, reporting to the BAS Supervisor. Check below the duties and requirements:

DUTIES:

• Ensure workplace safety is the top priority.
• Follow Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements.
• Monitor the Building Automation System (BAS).
• Provide 24/7 on-call service for emergencies.
• Communicate with field staff for system optimization.
• Maintain and repair BAS components.
• Perform calibrations and repairs on BAS devices.
• Keep secure BAS documentation.
• Generate reports and manage employee performance reviews.
• Schedule personnel shifts to maintain service levels.
• Assign tasks and enforce performance standards.
• Inspect completed work to meet quality standards.
• Perform multiple tasks under different conditions.
• Manage staff and handle additional projects.

REQUIRED:

• Minimum Experience:
  • Five (5) years' experience as a Journeyman BAS Technician or HVAC Mechanic.
  • Experience with equipment like Invensys I/A, Siemens, Honeywell Series systems.
• Skills:

• Education: Associates degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• Passport, Licenses and Certifications:
  
• Valid passport with 18 months validity and 8 blank pages.
• Valid drivers' license
• Security Vetting: Must have a US Government issued Secret security clearance.
• Language Skills: Proficient in English.
• Medical: Must pass medical and dental examinations for deployment to Iraq.

DESIRED:

• Previous international experience and work in harsh conditions preferred.
• Experience with Amentum.
