Reporting to the Assistant O&M Manager, this role is crucial for overseeing facility electric tasks and related projects.

  • Ensure safety is the top priority in the workplace.
  • Adhere to Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards.
  • Support documentation requirements for divisions.
  • Conduct maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems.
  • Identify and fix electrical malfunctions.
  • Test equipment for safety and efficiency.
  • Install and inspect electrical components.
  • Report any issues to the Assistant O&M Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Manage tools and spare parts for electrical operations.
  • Make technical decisions and analyze situations.
  • Carry out assigned duties and projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Master Electrician or 10 years as a Journeyman Electrician.
  • 5 years of electrical experience in operations and maintenance.
  • 3 years in an Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in US Codes and trade practices, electrical diagrams, safety precautions, and supervisory skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Experience with contract responsibilities in an overseas facility.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Team player with innovative and communicative qualities.

Education: High school diploma or GED. Electrician vocational diploma or equivalent.

  • Passport, Licenses, and Certifications: Valid passport, driver's license, and Master Electrician license.
  • Security Vetting: Must have or obtain a US Government security clearance.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English for job requirements and safety measures.
  • Medical: Pass required medical and dental examinations.

Desired:

  • Experience in operations and maintenance projects internationally.
  • Previous work in harsh environments.
  • Experience with Amentum|PAE.

Working and Living Conditions:

The role may be in a challenging environment with extreme temperatures. Employees must be prepared for physical activities and deployment to Iraq for extended periods.
