Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive HSE induction courses to HSE technicians and engineers, covering theoretical and practical components. This includes:

  • Process operational safety
  • Material hazards and handling
  • Safety procedures prior to shutdown
  • Isolation protocols
  • Maintenance work safety

Conduct written and practical competence assessments to evaluate participants' understanding of safety standards and procedures.

Requirements and SkillsEducation

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field is required.

Experience

No less than 7 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry, with demonstrated expertise in delivering HSE training programs.

Technical Knowledge

Comprehensive understanding of refinery operations and associated safety risks. Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA safety regulations and their application in an oil and gas environment.

Communication Skills

Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Confidence in presenting to groups and facilitating training sessions in diverse environments.

Technical Proficiency

Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, and other training tools.

Personal Attributes

Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to engage participants effectively in both classroom and on-site training settings.
