Job Title: Credit Portfolio Manager

The Credit Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing the bank's credit portfolio, ensuring that all loans are sound and compliant with internal policies and regulations.

This role involves assessing the risk associated with lending and making decisions that protect the bank while supporting clients' needs. The Credit Portfolio Manager must have excellent analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate financial statements, credit reports, and risk assessments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the credit approval process and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
  • Develop and implement credit policies and guidelines to manage risk.
  • Manage the bank's credit portfolio, including reviewing loan performance and addressing potential delinquencies or defaults.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Risk, Legal, Collections) to ensure sound credit decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports on loan performance, risk, and portfolio health.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to address their credit needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in credit risk management or banking.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Strong knowledge of credit regulations and banking practices.
