Job Description:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects in power plants, oil refineries, gas processing facilities, and related infrastructure. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within established parameters, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The coordinator works closely with engineers, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project operations. They must be able to track project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely completion.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include developing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, and preparing and maintaining project documentation.

Additionally, the Project Coordinator will oversee planned and unplanned maintenance activities for power generation, oil, and gas equipment, coordinate shutdowns, turnarounds, and overhaul projects, and ensure that maintenance activities comply with industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in power plants, oil & gas maintenance, or industrial project coordination
  • Certifications such as PMP, OSHA, NEBOSH, or API certifications
  • Technical skills including proficiency in CMMS and project tools like MS Project, Primavera, SAP

Work Environment:
