The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Process Operations training sessions, both theoretical and practical, to local Operations Technicians and Engineers. This role requires a strong background in refinery operations, instructional experience, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions, ensuring all participants meet operational standards.
  • Conduct written and practical assessments to evaluate trainee competence.
  • Maintain accurate records of training progress, course completion, attendance, and any issues encountered.
Requirements and SkillsEducational Background

A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred, but a Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience will also be considered.

Professional Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery operations, preferably in roles such as Operations Supervisor, Senior Operations Engineer, or similar.
  • Significant hands-on experience with refinery unit operations.
  • At least 5 years of instructional experience, including the development and delivery of industry-specific training programs.
Technical Knowledge

The successful candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and refinery-specific compliance standards.

Communication Skills

Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident in delivering presentations and training to diverse audiences.

Personal Attributes

Strong organizational and time-management skills, comfortable addressing groups and facilitating both technical and hands-on learning.
