Technical Lead

The successful Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and performance of mechanical systems in residential and infrastructure projects. This includes ensuring compliance with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems, as well as proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and specifications.

• Manage and oversee mechanical system designs, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with design consultants, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
• Evaluate proposed materials and equipment for suitability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Act as primary technical point of contact for all mechanical works on site.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
• Oversee and monitor mechanical contractors' work progress and adherence to approved designs.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify quality of workmanship and conformity to safety protocols.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• [2-4] years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering roles within the construction sector.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems design principles and installation practices.
• Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with construction project management software and CAD tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy efficiency principles in mechanical systems is highly desirable.
