Site Cost Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team on-site in Iraq.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic and innovative project, focusing on providing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in helping to establish the financial framework of the project by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing detailed cost estimates for various project components, analyzing and evaluating proposals, and developing and maintaining a database of cost information.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for project components based on project specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
• Analyze and evaluate proposals, taking into account material, labor, overhead costs, and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain a database of cost information to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.
• Review and verify estimates prepared by others, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in estimating, preferably in Brownfield projects.
• Proficient in estimating software and tools (e.g., Candy, Primavera, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards and practices related to estimating, particularly in Brownfield environments.
• Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications accurately.
