Global Protection Specialist

High-Risk Security Specialist providing armed and sometimes non-armed protection services for client contracts in hostile and high-risk environments.

This role involves maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, presenting the team and its capabilities to clients, and adhering to established operating procedures (SOPs) at all times.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of services to clients, working closely with colleagues to achieve this goal.

• Demonstrate exceptional client etiquette, discipline, and a low-profile approach
• Raise awareness about threats and key issues in the country of operation
• Conduct vehicle and dismounted contact drills, and possess competent navigation skills, including map-reading and GPS usage
• Operate vehicle-mounted and handheld communications systems
• Comply with Rules of Engagement
• Maintain competence in required skills through regular assessments
• Administer tasks such as vehicle maintenance, equipment accountability, and reporting
• Participate in risk assessments and operational planning
• Brief clients and issue orders to team members in accordance with SOPs
• Conduct venue and route recces, producing comprehensive reports

• Minimum 5 years of military/police experience, with at least 6 months of operational experience
• Fluent English speaker and writer
• Available to deploy at short notice

• 12 months of commercial experience working in the region
• Experience managing operations for oil and gas clients
• Experience managing local guard forces
• Experience working in the security industry
