We are seeking a Senior Engineer Project Management to support and oversee site engineering activities on a major project in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project execution, engineering coordination, and site-based construction management. This requires close collaboration with the Site Engineering Manager, construction teams, and contractors to ensure that engineering deliverables are implemented effectively on site.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Site Engineering Manager in overseeing all site engineering activities and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure the timely delivery of engineering solutions.
  • Review and monitor construction drawings, IFC documents, and vendor data for compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Identify and manage engineering-related risks and contribute to the development of mitigation plans.
  • Ensure that engineering changes and field technical queries are properly documented and communicated.
  • Assist in managing the interface between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of site engineering activities and technical correspondence.
  • Support QA/QC and HSE requirements, ensuring engineering activities align with project safety and quality standards.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in engineering/project management roles, with at least 5 years in site-based roles on large-scale EPC or oil & gas projects.
  • Experience working in Iraq or similar environments is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and construction practices.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure site environments and collaborate with multinational teams.
