The Logistics Analyst Sr. is the lead over the Logistics Analyst and is responsible for managing route activities such as invoicing, electronic bills, and shipment tracing. Support vendor/business partner relationships. Responsible for developing and maintaining cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models. Execute day-to-day processes and perform data management applying a combination of data mining, data modeling, and data analysis; cost/benefit analysis and/or problem analysis. Undertake ad-hoc queries and maintain reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs to support the business. Responsible for conducting analysis and creating reports of weekly and monthly KPIs and forecasts. Actively participate in transportation alignment and track performance to awards and cost. Responsible for auditing transportation accessorial charges by carrier and customer. Correct freight settlement documents to ensure the proper accruing of freight daily. Estimate distribution costs for new business opportunities-indirect/direct freight, DC Costs, etc.

- The lead over the logistics analyst in the Logistics Operations cell.
- Logistics Analyst Sr. performs various functions utilizing statistical analyses and strategies to devise optimal logistics solutions in creating a more productive, cost-effective and profitable enterprise.
- Aid organizations in implementing the solutions.
- Responsible for performing cost comparisons of distribution center shipments versus plant direct opportunities.
- Clearly communicate to senior leaders (both internal and external), vendors and customers.
- Under Supervision of the Director of Logistics, the Sr. Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing route activities such as invoicing, electronic bills, and shipment tracing.

- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or in a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Two (4) years of experience in transportation, logistics or customer service
- Skills:
- Able to use computer-automated systems to perform assigned duties
- Excellent communication and writing skills are required along with a working knowledge of computer operations to include spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications
- Great organizational skills with a strong ability to work independently as a member of a robust team.
- Working Conditions:
- Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
- Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
- Physical Requirements:
- Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
