This role is primarily responsible for maintaining quality of credit portfolios at required standards for Corporate Banking functions ; Directly supervises credit analysis of every party and helps control risk. Reviews and recommends on credit proposals within authorized limits, in adherence to the risk management policies of the bank; Assists Relationship Managers in structuring credit lines; Ensures compliance to all guidelines (internal or external).

Provide inputs for credit policies.

Monitor and ensure that all credit approvals are in compliance with bank's internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Assist Relationship Managers in structuring credit lines financial/risk analysis for borrowing relationships.

Coordinate with internal customers (Corporate Banking, Internal Audit, Compliance) to ensure adherence to guidelines and that all requirements are fulfilled.

Directly supervise credit analysis of every party and help control risk. Review and recommend on credit proposals within authorized limits, in adherence to the risk management policies of the bank

Monitor risk exposure of the bank  and provides ongoing feedback on management of the credit portfolio

Monitor that all pre disbursement conditions are complied with

Review product program and ensures the risk management guidelines are followed.

Provide clarifications and respond to queries relating to any credit proposals belonging to the assigned areas and sanctioning authority

Supervise Remedial team and help meet bank's target

Meet borrowing customers of the bank to gain insights about their businesses.

Develop staff capabilities through on the job counseling and other training; prepare effective back-up resources within the team.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field.
Experience: 5-7 years in banking credit.
Skills: Banking compliance, risk management, financial analysis, and familiarity with Central Bank regulations.
