We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Legal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal matters, with at least 10 years of professional experience in Iraq. The role requires an independent and self-organized professional who can provide expert legal advice and perform thorough legal reviews of contracts, as well as offer guidance on arbitration and claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Review: Conduct detailed legal reviews of contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, protecting the organizations interests.
  • Legal Advice: Provide expert legal advice regarding arbitration and claims, including risk assessment and strategic planning.
  • Reporting: Regularly report progress, issues, and recommendations to the Team Leader, ensuring that all legal matters are communicated effectively.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive legal documentation and reports as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Law from an accredited university.
  • Professional Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in legal matters, specifically within Iraq.
    • Demonstrated expertise in contract law, arbitration, and claims management.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
