Plumber

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumber to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a crucial member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in both residential and commercial properties throughout the city.

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, waste and vent pipes, and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations

• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently, providing cost-effective solutions

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and service requests, ensuring minimal disruption to our clients

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing diagrams to plan and execute installations or repairs

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance

• Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members on larger projects or complex installations

• Provide clear explanations and recommendations to customers regarding plumbing issues and solutions

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job

• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and hygiene regulations while working in various environments

• Keep work areas clean and organized, properly storing tools and materials

• Stay updated on the latest plumbing technologies, techniques, and local code requirements

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair

• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems

• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and safely

• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment specific to plumbing work

• Thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance related to plumbing

• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in Baghdad, Iraq

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing diagrams

• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer service and team collaboration
