About the Role

Rainbow AgroSciences Middle East CO., Limited is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Regulatory Officer to join our team and lead regulatory compliance across Iraq. This role is vital in ensuring our crop protection and agrochemical products meet all local legal and regulatory standards while supporting our business goals in the region.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare, compile, and submit product registration and renewal dossiers to the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) and other regulatory bodies.

• Ensure timely follow-up and communication with health authorities to expedite product approvals.

• Maintain updated records of regulatory submissions, approvals, certificates, and product licenses.

• Monitor and interpret local regulatory requirements and communicate relevant updates to internal teams.

• Review product labelling, packaging, and promotional materials for regulatory compliance.

• Support product safety activities as required by local regulations.

• Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Business) and external partners to ensure regulatory alignment.

• Monitor the status of registrations and proactively manage timelines to avoid delays or expirations.

• Coordinate import licenses, customs clearance, and other regulatory logistics where applicable with company and/or channels partners.

• Participate in audits and inspections related to regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy - Crop protection Department.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs in Iraq, preferably in the agriculture industry.

• Strong knowledge of Iraq MOA regulations and guidelines.

• Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English (written and spoken).

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior interaction with regulatory authorities in Iraq.

• Knowledge of quality assurance or crop protection processes in agriculture.
