We are seeking an experienced and skilled Distribution Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering with extensive experience in power distribution, including power systems design, network master planning, and the construction and reconstruction of distribution substations and line projects kV). The role requires a professional who can serve as a critical point of contact between the client and an International generation expert, ensuring seamless communication and coordination regarding all aspects of power distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison Duties: Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the International generation expert, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on power distribution-related aspects.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide guidance to data collector teams regarding distribution network parameters and data collection processes.
  • Review and Quality Assurance: Review all distribution-related deliverables, including reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Reporting: Regularly report progress, issues, and outcomes to the Team Leader.
  • Training Preparation: Develop content for distribution training workshops, in collaboration with the client and the International team, and ensure the training material meets the agreed standards and objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in power distribution.
    • Demonstrated expertise in power systems design, network master planning, and the construction/reconstruction of distribution substations and line projects kV).
    • Operational and organizational experience in distribution companies is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in network modelling software such as PSS/E and DIgSILENT is a significant advantage.
  • Language Skills:
    • Fluent in Arabic.
    • Good proficiency in English.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with international teams and stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
