Vehicle Fleet Administrator/Fabricator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs routine and specialized maintenance/repair support of commercial category passenger vehicles.
• Basic Qualifications: Should have knowledge of or be able to quickly adapt/train within two weeks to make repairs on commercial vehicles, specifically the Toyota Hilux; Type 79 and TATA 4.5-ton truck, and Ford F550- based APCs, other commercial types of equipment as well as tactical military ground equipment supported by TACOM.
• Mechanics must be able to perform electrical/electronic diagnosis, testing, and repair ability.
• Mechanics will have the ability to perform vehicle welding as necessary to facilitate repairs.
• All mechanics must have the ability to perform up to intermediate level repairs, which includes diagnostic of malfunctions and ability to repair such malfunctions on the vehicle.

• Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license, and be able to obtain, where required, the appropriate special license/certification for equipment to be operated to include but not limited to forklifts of varying size and configuration, NSCV's, Bobcats, ATV's, GMV's, and 15K trucks.
• Possess excellent work ethics, verbal and written communication skills and be detailed and accurate in performing all administrative and routine functions.
• Be able to work in an environment that is fast paced while completing multiple tasks and meeting stringent timelines, to include ability to work independently without direct super- vision.
• Be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary, such as correspondence using the Army Writing System in accordance with AR 25-50.
• Able to enter data into multiple databases or spreadsheets. Ensure consistency and appropriate cross-referencing for both newly entered and previously entered data. Retrieve data and use data to respond to a variety of Customer and vendor inquiries. Perform research to determine reasons for patterns of transaction errors and failures.
• Conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns; assemble retrieved information into different formats to meet different requirements; for example, status reports, unmet Customer needs, and other similar areas.
• Maintain files in accordance with applicable Army, Navy, and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.
• Proficiently use MS Office application software to maintain data and submit reports of varying types and formats via internal management control databases, spreadsheets, and other reporting tools in a variety of program application software.
• Be willing to attend and satisfactorily complete, required training associated with job responsibilities.
• Crosstrain with other contracted positions to fill in during absences (specific to exempt/salaried positions.

• Possess task order appropriate security clearance prior to beginning support of this effort and maintain said clearance throughout duration of support of this effort.

• Meet CENTCOM Current deployment health standards.
• All new hires will process through the CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) at Fort Bliss, TX and be approved for deployment to include received required USG issued PPE. 
• Be capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 40 lbs. unassisted.
