Expatriate Emergency Doctor

Our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated Emergency Doctor to provide critical medical care at West Qurna-2 in Iraq. The successful candidate will have strong emergency medicine expertise, experience working in remote international sites, and the ability to manage urgent medical situations effectively in a challenging environment.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor diploma.
• Residency/specialty in Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care.
• ACLS and ATLS (or ITLS) valid certifications.
• Upper-intermediate English and fluent Russian.
• Minimum 5 years of work in specialty.
• Minimum 3 years in remote site medical services on international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 emergency medical care for trauma, acute diseases, and critical conditions.
• Conduct outpatient consultations and non-emergency care during routine 12-hour shifts.
• Stabilize and manage patients until evacuation or definitive care is available.
• Perform initial triage and coordinate with the Chief Doctor and Health Manager for Medevac.
• Maintain readiness of emergency equipment, medications, and clinic facilities.
• Participate in hygiene inspections, first aid training, and occupational health assessments.
• Keep accurate patient records in accordance with Company requirements.
• Support mass casualty response as per MERP protocols.
