Overview

***This position will be physically located in Iraq in support of LOGCAP.***

Under the general direction of the Project Controls Supervisor, the Project Controls Analyst, Sr. is responsible for project controls that contribute to cost effective accounting management control over the project financial records reported against the program budget. Assist with the overall financial services and accounting tasks associated with the LOGCAP V OIR Task Order to provide accurate, timely, reliable services and reports. Services include project controls, forecasting, cost analysis, and active participation in the overall accounting period close planning, financial accounting reconciliation and analysis, and cost reporting

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for project controls that contribute to cost effective accounting management control over the project financial records reported against the program budget.
  • Assist with the overall financial services and accounting tasks associated with the LOGCAP V OIR Task Order to provide accurate, timely, reliable services and reports.
  • Services include project controls, forecasting, cost analysis, and active participation in the overall accounting period close planning, financial accounting reconciliation and analysis, and cost reporting
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline
    • Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education.
  • Skills:
    • Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
    • Strong working knowledge of automated financial systems and proficiency with database and spreadsheet software.
    • Knowledge regarding cost accounting data within financial systems is required.
    • Must be able to read, write and speak fluently
  • Working Conditions:
    • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
    • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
