Roles and Responsibilities:Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.Prepare cash flow projections and ensure liquidity management.Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes.Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local regulatory requirements.Coordinate internal and external audits and implement recommendations.Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and dashboards.Present financial performance and insights to senior management and stakeholders.Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.Implement financial controls to safeguard company assets.Assess and manage financial risks, including currency, credit, and operational risks.Develop strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.Foster collaboration with other departments (procurement, operations, project controls).Provide financial input for business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions as needed.Education, Skills & Experience:EducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master's or CPA/CFA preferred).Experience and Skill setMinimum 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and ERP systems.Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
