• Defining the data model and data dictionary.
• Setting rules for data ownership, stewardship, access, retention and correction.
• Designing consent, redress and customer protection rules.
• Setting out data-sharing arrangements and governance roles.
• Contributing to the privacy and security requirements. The expert will also take part in stakeholder workshops and validation sessions in Baghdad. Assignment Details
• Expected start: 22 November 2026
• Project end: April 2027
• Input: 11 working days, of which 4 days on mission in Baghdad and the rest remote Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in law, finance, economics, banking, business administration or a related discipline
• C1-level proficiency in English and Arabic
• At least 7 years of professional experience in data governance, information management, data protection, privacy or related fields
• At least 7 years of specific experience in data governance frameworks, data protection and privacy, data management, data-sharing arrangements, access controls, data quality, retention and data rights, preferably in digital, financial or regulated environments
• Knowledge of data protection standards such as the EU GDPR
• Professional certification in data privacy or data governance (for example CIPP, CIPM or CDMP) is an advantage
