IRC PRODUCTION SERVICES ENGINEER
At Eni, we are looking for a Production Services Engineer within the Zubair Field Operating Division in Basra, Iraq.

You will supporting the department manager with gas production back allocation forecasts and data collection and elaboration as per Field gas production, performing actions agreed with client on operational meetings and addressing technical queries raised, and developing and managing department budget, cash flow statement and accounts as per accounting and budgeting department guidelines.

You will also keep close contact with Eni Iraq C&P to correctly develop and expedite project contract administration practices, managing contract documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

As a member of the Production Services department you will be responsible for:

  • Effective troubleshooting of technical issues
  • Elaborating other departments' requests in terms of back allocations of gas production, fuel gas and flare gas data
  • Creating requests for actions as per ZFOD-Client meetings outcomes
  • Laboratory analyses verification
  • Verification and daily/monthly control of fiscal metering reports
  • Ensuring that all company, local and international regulation requirements for oil and gas metering and exporting operations as well as calibration activities are met
  • Handling post-contract administration for all department contracts and dealing with any matters arising in connection with the execution of purchase orders/works contracts
  • Performing liaison activities between company-contractors and suppliers to resolve any documentation related issues
  • Department accounting tasks, budget accuracy and timely updating
  • Fully complying with the Eni Code of Ethics.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

  • Engineering degree (chemical, mechanical engineering preferred)
  • Significant experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience in process engineering and contract administration desirable
  • Engineering knowledge of oil treatment process and production fluids measurement
  • Knowledge of cost analysis and purchase pricing, financial evaluation, cost estimation, budgeting, cost analysis and control
  • Knowledge of organization processes (procurement, project management, feed-back flow organization and circulation, documentation management)
  • Fluent in English language
  • Problem-solving and listening skills. Deadline management and flexibility.
