IT Operations Support Specialist

The IT Operations Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within an organization. This position requires an individual who can quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, provide advanced support, and collaborate with various teams to ensure system stability and efficiency.

  • Provide level 2 support by investigating and resolving escalated technical issues from multiple teams through all channels.
  • Analyze recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent future incidents.
  • Assist in executing incident response procedures and escalate critical issues as per established process.
  • Ensure all support activities are aligned with service level agreements and contribute to high system availability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams for faster issue resolution and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage access to ZainCash systems, ensuring compliance with security policies.
  • Process user access requests, modifications, and revocations while enforcing the principle of least privilege.
  • Perform periodic audits of system access and permissions, identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Support IT asset tracking by ensuring accurate records of system changes and configurations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and IT infrastructure components.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
