Project Governance and Delivery Excellence

Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the project management office's capabilities and driving high-impact initiatives forward.

This key position requires an experienced professional with exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills to lead project management efforts, establish project governance, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to policies and methodologies across the organization.
  2. Develop and implement best practices for project delivery excellence, fostering collaboration, identifying risks, and driving operational efficiency.
  3. Oversee and monitor key project performance, providing strategic guidance to project managers and teams.
  4. Collaborate closely with senior management to align project outcomes with company-wide strategic goals and priorities.
  5. Facilitate timely project status reporting, ensuring effective communication regarding project risks and issues.
  6. Conduct thorough assessments of project performance, providing actionable recommendations for improvement opportunities.
  7. Mentor and coach project managers and team members to enhance their project management capabilities.
  8. Organize and lead PMO meetings, workshops, and training sessions to promote knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of 8+ years in project management, with at least 3 years in a PMO leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree is highly desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and other relevant project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, and/or Agile methodologies are highly desirable.
