Deputy Representative Programme Manager

UNICEF is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Representative Programme to join our team in Iraq. As a key member of our Country Office, you will play a critical role in supporting the Representative in leading and leveraging partnerships with both public and private sectors for the achievement of results and fulfilment of the rights of children.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Representative in managing the Country Office and developing CO policies and strategies.
- Coordinate and manage all phases of the Country Office Programme, from formulation to delivery of results in accordance with UNICEF's Strategic Plans, standards of performance and accountability framework, ethics, and integrity.
- Lead and leverage partnerships with both public and private sectors for the achievement of results and fulfilment of the rights of children.
- Accountable for the delivery of a timely, efficient, and principled humanitarian programme in fragile and humanitarian settings.
- Advanced university degree in social sciences, international relations, government and public relations, public or social policy, sociology, social or community development, or another relevant technical field.
- Minimum of ten years of professional development experience that combines technical and managerial leadership in development cooperation at the international level, some of which served in developing countries.
- Experience in humanitarian settings is strongly desired.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency.
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic) is a strong asset.
