Job Title: Expert Trainer in Refinery Operations

At the heart of our operations lies a profound commitment to education and training. As an Expert Trainer in Refinery Operations, you will be instrumental in equipping the next generation of Operations Technicians and Engineers with the skills required to excel in a refinery environment.

  • We seek professionals with extensive operational experience who are passionate about training, passionate about refining the process of learning, and driven by the desire to equip others with valuable knowledge and hands-on skills.

The role is perfect for individuals with a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or substantial industry experience, alongside at least 5 years of instructional experience. We value your ability to deliver presentations, facilitate technical and hands-on learning, and maintain accurate records of training progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Process Operations training sessions, both theoretical (classroom-based) and practical (on-site), to local Operations Technicians and Engineers.
  • Conduct written and practical assessments to evaluate trainee competence, ensuring all participants meet operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of training progress, course completion, attendance, and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery operations, ideally in roles such as Operations Supervisor, Senior Operations Engineer, or similar.
  • Significant hands-on experience with refinery unit operations.
  • At least 5 years of instructional experience, including the development and delivery of industry-specific training programs.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and refinery-specific compliance standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and other training tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
