Role Overview

We're looking for a Business Intelligence & Growth Lead to transform Rahal's data into decisions that fuel growth, efficiency, and exceptional traveler experiences.

You'll build and scale our BI and growth analytics function from the ground up, connecting data sources, establishing single sources of truth, and turning raw data into actionable insights for leadership, marketing, product, engineering, operations, and commercial teams.

This is a hands-on role for a builder, someone who designs frameworks, executes them, and makes complex data simple, visual, and strategic.

Key ResponsibilitiesData Strategy & Infrastructure

• Own Rahal's end-to-end BI strategy, from data collection and modeling to visualization and storytelling.
• Design and maintain scalable dashboards and automated reports across growth, product, CX, and operations.
• Partner with Engineering to ensure robust data pipelines, integrations, and governance frameworks.
• Build and maintain the "Rahal Single Source of Truth", ensuring metrics are consistent, trusted, and actionable.

Analytics & Growth Insights

• Lead analytical deep dives into traveler behavior, campaign performance, funnel conversion, and partner economics.
• Translate insights into strategic recommendations that inform product roadmaps, marketing investments, and business priorities.
• Establish and track key metrics (KPIs, leading and lagging indicators) through Rahal's Quarterly OKRs.
• Proactively identify growth opportunities and operational inefficiencies through data-driven storytelling.
• Proactively work on activation and reactivation campaigns based on user interaction and funnel conversion

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Work closely with the CEO and department heads to define data-driven success metrics for every function.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing to run A/B tests, experiments, and post-launch performance reviews.
• Translate technical insights into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders — prioritizing clarity, relevance, and actionability.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Science roles (at least 2 years in a cross-functional capacity).
   
• Industry: Prior experience in travel-tech, marketplace, mobility, fintech or consumer-tech preferred.
   
• Technical Skills:
  • SQL mastery and relational database expertise.
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with ETL pipelines, data modeling, and cloud warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization skills.
     
• Analytical Skills: Ability to define frameworks, segment cohorts, and measure business impact through advanced analytics.
• Communication: Excellent storytelling and presentation skills; able to influence strategic decisions with data integrity.
• Mindset: Start-up attitude, comfortable with imperfect data, thrives in ambiguity, and loves building from scratch.
