Job Summary:

The Sales Performance Analyst is responsible for analyzing sales data to evaluate category performance, conducting market and competitive audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and promotional campaigns. This role plays a critical part in optimizing sales strategies and ensuring that the company's products perform successfully in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Monitoring:
    • Track and analyze key category performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare daily reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for the sales and management teams.
    • Monitor sales performance across various channels and recommend adjustments to strategies as needed.
  2. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align on strategies and goals.
    • Provide data-driven feedback from clients and market observations to internal teams to refine product offerings and services.
    • Support the development of promotional campaigns by providing performance analysis and market insights.
  3. Market Knowledge:
    • Conduct market visits to audit performance, assess product placement, and gather competitive intelligence.
    • Manage on-ground activities, ensuring the effective implementation of sales and marketing initiatives.
    • Track and analyze competitor pricing and initiatives, providing strategic recommendations to maintain a competitive edge.
  4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Utilize advanced data analytics to create comprehensive reports that inform business decisions.
    • Develop and maintain informative dashboards that provide a clear view of sales performance and key metrics.
    • Analyze historical data to forecast future trends and support strategic planning.
  5. Strategic Insights:
    • Use data to provide strategic insights that drive sales growth and enhance category performance.
    • Support the category management team in making data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings and pricing strategies.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis and market observations.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics within the FMCG sector, with a proven track record in reporting and creating informative dashboards.
  • Experience in performance monitoring, market analysis, and competitive auditing.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with proficiency in data analysis and dashboard creation.
