Job Purpose The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting the business through the planning, organization, leadership, and management of field operations with a strategic mindset and has an overall responsibility for safety, quality, and financial health of the operation. This includes managing risk, service quality, personnel and business development and various functions such as health & safety, and human resources.Responsibilities Lead safety meetings with employee on a regular basis.Facilitate safety meetings, oversee Job Hazard Analysis updates, evaluate near misses, and perform Root Cause Analysis for all incidents; investigate accordingly and provide corrective actions.Demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the Company's Rules to Live ByPlaces Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, considering responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations.Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises. Skills Comprehensive understanding of the Product Line and technical job planning requirementsMinimum 5+ years of field experience in the field performing successful jobs for TT fishing, Milling, Under reaming, Cleanout, Inflatable, EPST Etc.In depth knowledge with the Weatherford Inflatable products with Execution and Troubleshooting abilities is essential.Minimal 2+ years of Operations co-ordinationGood understanding of Engineering, Service Quality and SalesComprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditionsExcellent proficiency for field calculations.Excellent computer skills for preparation of job/project specific procedures and dealing with amendments to existing procedures or plans. Ability to work in high pressure situations, balancing both client and business expectations.Knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, Health Safety and Environmental (HS&E) and complianceAbility to accurately assess, solve, implement, and communicate solutions to problems.Understanding of continuous improvementAbility to manage, develop and coach teams across organizational boundaries.Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization.Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing, and planning skills.Team playerStrategic thinking skillsProblem solving capabilities.Intermediate knowledge of JDE, 5why, PeopleSoft, Salesforce systems Fluent in EnglishQualificationsBachelor's degree in an Engineering or Scientific discipline or equivalent experienceMinimum 7+ years of relevant work experience in operationsExperience in the execution of day-to-day operations and product related projects.About UsWeatherford is a leading global energy services company.
