Transforming the world. Wood has been awarded a general engineering contract to support an International Client operator to deliver a portfolio of onshore capital projects by provision of engineering and project management services (including EPC contract management), as well as Supply Chain, Construction and Commissioning support from Wood Iraq and UAE offices.Projects include both Greenfield and Brownfield modification projects and integrating low-carbon solutions to support our client's energy transition and emissions reduction goals. Celebrating Long Service provides an opportunity for the business to demonstrate their appreciation of the hard work, dedication and many years' services of our employees at 5-year service milestones Job Responsibilities:Carry out assigned Process design work as part of a multi-discipline project teamMaybe required to perform site surveys and data gathering exercises at various project locationsTo provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Project's, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirementsTo provide technical support to the site team during design, engineering and constructionPreparation of all types of Process design deliverables such as PFD's, P&ID's and Process Safeguarding DiagramsProduce 2D drawings in AutoCADTo assist in the coordination of all activities related to the disciplineTo promote safe behavior at all timesQUALIFICATIONSWhat makes you remarkable? Expected:Diploma or HND in Chemical EngineeringMinimum of 3 years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industryKnowledge of site-based project work involving field engineering and constructionPrevious experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantageProficient in the use of AutoCAD, Excel and WordExperience in Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design is requiredExperience in the preparation and co-ordination of Process design deliverablesCompliance with industry, international and Client Codes and standards.
