Delivery Project Manager  Role Synopsis:  Reporting to the Infrastructure Projects Project Manager. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for contributing expertise in construction management of ongoing projects onsite. This position will involve the application of technical knowledge, innovative strategies and collaborative efforts to ensure the successful execution of construction initiatives. As a Delivery Manager, who will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, whilst ensuring the Contractor adheres to client process and standards. The Delivery Manager responsibilities are to ensure all construction work is undertaken safely and meet the required specification. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure successful project delivery within specified timelines and budgetary constraints. Key Accountabilities: Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: •    Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, considering scope, budget, and schedule requirements. •    Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. •    Manage and lead a team of construction managers, engineers, and other professionals involved in the construction phase of ongoing multiple projects. •    Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure effective project execution. •    Monitor project budgets and financial performance of Contractors and ongoing project works. •    Identify cost-saving opportunities during pre-construction activities and during construction phase and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. •    Provide regular financial updates to relevant stakeholders. •    Coordinate with contractors to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. •    Proactively identify and address potential schedule delays. •    Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure Works are completed in accordance with ROO Standards and construction standards are to the required specification. •    Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, ensure construction activities are undertaken safely to ROO Health and Safety Policy and ensure work is conducted to a professional standard. •    Address and resolve any quality and / or site issues promptly. •    Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project delivery. •    Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. •    Monitor and manage project risks throughout the construction process. •    Responsibilities will be to the primary point of contact for Contractors, Stakeholders and project teams. •    Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns. •    Facilitate effective communication channels among project stakeholders. •    Ensure all contractors and site personnel strict adherence to ROO safety protocols, regulations and standards on construction sites to mitigate risks and accidents. •    Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate construction methodologies, and constructability into the overall project scope. Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to validate design concepts and resolve technical challenges. •    Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. •    Familiarity with project management methodologies and software. •    Understand project objectives, requirements, and constraints. •    Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout the construction process. •    Review and analyse design documentation, drawings, and models to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to project specifications. Conduct thorough assessments to mitigate related risks. •    Provide technical guidance and expertise to resolve construction related challenges and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. •    Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the construction team, encouraging the exploration and integration of new technologies and sustainable practices. •    Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and reviews to communicate project progress, milestones, and potential risks to stakeholders. Criteria & Qualifications: Experience and Qualifications •    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. •    A minimum 10 years of experience in Project management, with a proven track record in a managerial or leadership role. •    In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and regulations. •    Proficiency in design software/tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.) and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) is preferred. •    Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. •    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality deliverables. •    Experience working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. •    Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. •    Familiarity with project management methodologies and software. Additional Skills & Character •    Computer literate and able to use MS Word, Excel, Planner and Outlook well. •    Able to communicate both verbally and in written English language at all levels. •    Valid driving licence. •    Good managerial and technical skills.  •    Good problem-solving skills.  •    The ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.  •    The ability and confidence to enforce and maintain a high standard of health and safety legislation.  •    The initiative to work on your own or as part of a team. •    Healthy and active.  •    The ability to manage a varied workload. •    Experience and knowledge of health and safety rules and regulations. •    Self-motivated and keen to succeed with an ability to manage several tasks simultaneously. •    Methodical problem solver who can motivate others to work as a team and produce results. •    The role requires a strong communicator with smart appearance, excellent written and verbal English and Arabic language skills with ability to command the respect of his team.
