Job Description

As a Property Asset Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely management of government- and customer-owned property. This role involves coordinating, documenting, and maintaining property records in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regulations and contract requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, recording, issuing, and tracking property in accordance with approved plans and FAR regulations.
  • Conducting physical inventories, inspections, and self-assessments to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Coordinating the movement of materials and equipment to project locations, ensuring accurate tracking and updates within the property system.
  • Facilitating the disposal of surplus or obsolete property through proper documentation and disposal process.
  • Validating that system of record data reflects the actual physical environment.
  • Supporting internal and external audits by providing reports, supporting documentation, and reconciling inventory discrepancies.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and equipment setup.
  • Experience supporting audits and maintaining detailed records.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with government property management regulations.
  • Familiarity with systems of record used for asset management and property accountability.
