Job Title

Job Description
  • Consistently provide professional, friendly and engaging service to our guests.
  • Lead the hotel's daily IT operations ensuring all standards are met.
  • Comply with company IT Security Policy as it pertains to hardware, software, security/data safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper backup of all business related, user relevant data on a regular basis.
  • Support the hotel's standalone systems, including but not limited to, systems connected to the Network, point of sales systems, all related interfaces, file server, UPS related devices.
  • Take the lead on and execute all IT projects at the Hotel, while supporting and working closely with Regional and Corporate IT teams.
  • Prepare and administer the annual IT budget in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Work and consult with hardware and software vendors to set up and maintain all required equipment.
  • Ensure that the usage and installation of software is in accordance with software licensing laws.
  • Assist in overall Hotel management responsibilities as needed.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures.
  • Follow all safety policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an IT role in a hotel setting is required.
  • Microsoft Certified Software Engineer preferred.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networks.
  • Understanding of hotel applications is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Previous Accor experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
