Job Opportunity:

Laboratory Professional

This position is for a skilled Laboratory Technician to work in a dynamic environment, providing comprehensive health services to individuals stationed overseas.

The successful candidate will perform various laboratory tests and procedures, utilizing their expertise in hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and blood banking. They will also be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and recording test results accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process biological specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Conduct routine and specialized tests in hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and blood bank.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean laboratory environment.
  • Record and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other medical staff to interpret results and ensure quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in medical laboratory technology or a related scientific field with an approved laboratory training program.

  • Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from a nationally recognized registry such as the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical records (EMRs).
