We are seeking a seasoned construction professional to assume responsibility for overseeing daily operations at our building sites.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely completion of projects, adherence to budget constraints, and compliance with quality standards by coordinating site activities effectively.
  • Lead and manage site engineers, ensuring smooth workflow and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Supervise administrative staff, including accounting, procurement, and site support personnel, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, guaranteeing compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to foster strong relationships and facilitate communication.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project status, financials, and workforce performance.
  • Implement corrective actions as needed to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Optimize resource allocation, minimizing waste and ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to enhance team skills and capabilities.
  • Oversee subcontractor work, ensuring compliance with contract terms and project specifications.
  • Establish and maintain high construction standards through regular site inspections and quality control measures.
  • Handle site-related administrative tasks, including payroll approvals and workforce scheduling.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in site management within the contracting or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience handling engineers, administrative staff, and site workers.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective coordination with stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen to oversee budgeting, cost control, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
