Job Description:

The PMO Officer is responsible for providing strategic support to the Project Management Office (PMO) in ensuring that projects are effectively managed, aligned with organizational goals, and deliver planned outcomes.

As a key member of the project team, the PMO Officer plays a crucial role in facilitating communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies, tools, and standards across all initiatives.

The PMO Officer is also responsible for drafting and designing processes within the organization, implementing efficient workflows, and supporting departments in enhancing their processes or resolving system issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft project plans, key milestones, and project goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Assign tasks to the correct resources and ensure accurate documentation of project plans, schedules, and risks.
  • Design new workflows and processes that are more efficient, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Identify and escalate project risks and issues for resolution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their workflow needs and challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Computers, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in process management, editing, or technical writing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
