**Job Title:** Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Trainer

As a HSE Instructor for the oil and gas industry, you will deliver comprehensive training programs to ensure the highest level of safety and compliance in high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver effective HSE induction courses covering theoretical and practical components.
  • Facilitate training on critical HSE topics including process operational safety, material hazards and handling, safety procedures prior to shutdown, isolation protocols and maintenance work safety.
  • Evaluate participants' understanding and ability to apply safety standards and procedures through written and practical competence assessments.
Requirements and Skills
  • Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Safety Management or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry with demonstrated expertise in delivering HSE training programs.
  • Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of refinery operations and associated safety risks, strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA safety regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, and other training tools.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to engage participants effectively in both classroom and on-site training settings.
