About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Process Operations training sessions, both theoretical (classroom-based) and practical (on-site), to local Operations Technicians and Engineers. They will also conduct written and practical assessments to evaluate trainee competence, ensuring all participants meet operational standards.

Maintaining accurate records of training progress, course completion, attendance, and any issues encountered is essential. Regular updates will be provided to management.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Education:
    A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred. A Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience will also be considered.
  • Professional Experience:
    A minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery operations, ideally in roles such as Operations Supervisor, Senior Operations Engineer, or similar.
  • Hands-on Experience:
    Significant hands-on experience with refinery unit operations.
  • Instructional Experience:
    At least 5 years of instructional experience, including the development and delivery of industry-specific training programs.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and refinery-specific compliance standards.
  • Communication Skills:
    Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Personal Attributes:
    Strong organizational and time-management skills.
