Training Specialist - Refinery Operations
As a Training Specialist - Refinery Operations, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering high-quality training programs to equip Operations Technicians and Engineers with the skills required to excel in a refinery environment.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced instructor with a strong background in refinery operations and instructional experience. Your comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and refinery-specific compliance standards will be valuable assets in creating effective training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training sessions on refinery unit operations, ensuring all participants meet operational standards.
- Conduct written and practical assessments to evaluate trainee competence.
- Maintain accurate records of training progress, course completion, attendance, and any issues encountered.
Requirements and Skills:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in refinery operations, ideally in roles such as Operations Supervisor or Senior Operations Engineer.
- Significant hands-on experience with refinery unit operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and other training tools.
