HSE Training Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HSE Instructor to deliver high-quality training programs in the oil and gas industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive HSE training courses to ensure that industry personnel have the knowledge and skills needed to ensure safety and compliance in high-risk environments.

Responsibilities:

">

- Design and deliver theoretical (classroom) and practical (on-site) HSE induction courses for HSE Technicians and Engineers.

">

- Facilitate training on critical HSE topics, including process operational safety, material hazards and handling, safety procedures prior to shutdown, isolation protocols, and maintenance work safety.

">

- Conduct written and practical competence assessments to evaluate participants' understanding and ability to apply safety standards and procedures effectively.

">

Requirements:

">

- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.

">

- Professional Experience: At least 7 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry.

">

- Demonstrated expertise in delivering HSE training programs, including designing training materials and assessments.

">

- Comprehensive understanding of refinery operations and associated safety risks.

">

- Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA safety regulations and their application in an oil and gas environment.

">

- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

">

- Confidence in presenting to groups and facilitating training sessions in diverse environments.

">

- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, and other training tools.

">

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

">

- Ability to engage participants effectively in both classroom and on-site training settings.
