HSE Training Expert

This role involves delivering comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Induction Courses to HSE Technicians and Engineers. The training encompasses both theoretical (classroom) and practical (on-site) components.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Fostering training on critical HSE topics such as process operational safety, material hazards and handling, safety procedures prior to shutdown, isolation protocols, and maintenance work safety.
- Conducting written and practical competence assessments to evaluate participants' understanding and ability to apply safety standards and procedures effectively.
Requirements and Skills:Education:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field is required.
- At least 7 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry is necessary.
- Comprehensive understanding of refinery operations and associated safety risks is essential.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA safety regulations and their application in an oil and gas environment is required.
- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities is necessary.
- Confidence in presenting to groups and facilitating training sessions in diverse environments is required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, and other training tools is expected.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential.
- Ability to engage participants effectively in both classroom and on-site training settings is required.
