Key Responsibilities

The primary role of this position is to deliver comprehensive HSE induction courses to technicians and engineers within the oil and gas industry. This entails covering both theoretical and practical components, including process operational safety, material hazards, and isolation protocols.

  • Design and facilitate training programs on critical HSE topics.
  • Develop written and practical competence assessments to evaluate participants' understanding of safety standards and procedures.
Requirements and SkillsEducational Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.

Professional Experience

A minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry is required. Demonstrated expertise in delivering HSE training programs, including designing training materials and assessments, is essential.

Technical Knowledge

Comprehensive understanding of refinery operations and associated safety risks is necessary. Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA safety regulations and their application in an oil and gas environment is also required.

Communication Skills

Candidates must possess fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. They should be confident in presenting to groups and facilitating training sessions in diverse environments.

Technical Proficiency

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, and other training tools is required. Additionally, strong organizational and time-management skills are essential for success in this role.
