As a HSE Instructor with ACZENTA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our industry personnel. This position is ideal for an experienced HSE professional passionate about equipping others with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in high-risk environments.

Job Overview

The HSE Instructor is responsible for delivering HSE Induction Courses to our technicians and engineers, covering both theoretical and practical components. This includes training on critical HSE topics such as process operational safety, material hazards and handling, safety procedures prior to shutdown, isolation protocols, and maintenance work safety.

  • Critical Responsibilities:
  • - Deliver comprehensive HSE training programs to ensure participants understand and can apply safety standards and procedures effectively.
  • - Design and implement training materials and assessments to evaluate participant understanding and competence.

Requirements and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Education and Qualifications

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.

Professional Experience

- At least 7 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

- Comprehensive understanding of refinery operations and associated safety risks.

- Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA safety regulations and their application in an oil and gas environment.

Communication and Technical Proficiency

- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Confidence in presenting to groups and facilitating training sessions in diverse environments.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, and other training tools.

Personal Attributes

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to engage participants effectively in both classroom and on-site training settings.
