Industrial Training Expert for Refinery Operations

At ACZENTA, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Industrial Training Expert to join our team. As a key member of our training department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training sessions to our local operations technicians and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Delivery: You will design and deliver comprehensive training programs for both theoretical and practical aspects of refinery operations. This includes creating engaging classroom-based and on-site training sessions that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: You will conduct written and practical assessments to evaluate the competence of our trainees, ensuring they meet the required operational standards. Your attention to detail and ability to provide constructive feedback will be essential in this role.
  • Record-Keeping and Reporting: You will maintain accurate records of training progress, course completion, attendance, and any issues encountered. Regular updates will be provided to management, highlighting areas of improvement and success.
Requirements and Skills

We are looking for an individual with a strong educational background and extensive industry experience. The ideal candidate will possess:

Education
  • A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred but not mandatory. A Bachelor's degree with substantial industry experience will also be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery operations, ideally in roles such as Operations Supervisor or Senior Operations Engineer.
  • Significant hands-on experience with refinery unit operations.
  • At least 5 years of instructional experience, including the development and delivery of industry-specific training programs.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and refinery-specific compliance standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, and other training tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to deliver presentations and training to diverse audiences in both classroom and on-site settings.

  • Comfortable addressing groups and facilitating both technical and hands-on learning.
