Job Title: Real Estate Projects Director

The role of the Project Director involves spearheading the planning, execution, and delivery of high-value real estate projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This position requires strategic oversight of budgets, timelines, teams, and stakeholder relationships to achieve operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules for residential/commercial developments.
  • Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations (zoning, permits, building codes) and sustainability standards (LEED, BREEAM).

Requirements:

Strategic Project Management
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, architects, contractors) and mentor project managers.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Marketing departments to align project objectives.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Oversee and guide cross-functional teams in achieving project goals.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment, fostering open communication among team members.
Financial Oversight
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Conduct cost analysis and deliver financial reports to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the primary point of contact for investors, clients, and government agencies.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project milestones, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Innovation & Quality Assurance
  • Implement green building practices and cutting-edge construction technologies.
  • Oversee quality control inspections to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
Post-Project Evaluation
  • Conduct thorough debriefs to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in real estate project management, including 5+ years in leadership positions.
  • Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $50M in value.
Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and BIM.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements, including zoning laws, building codes, and sustainability standards.
Leadership Skills:
  • Strategic vision and ability to align projects with organizational objectives.
  • Cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder engagement.
