We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to lead our culinary team in Baghdad, Iraq.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably as a Sous Chef
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques, menu planning, and kitchen equipment operation
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
  • Up-to-date Food Safety Certification
  • Knowledge of various cuisines, particularly Middle Eastern and international
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
