Renovation Crew Lead

About the Role:

This role oversees renovation projects in Iraq, managing teams of professional tradesmen and ensuring safety protocols are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise tradesmen to ensure high-quality work meets specifications and industry standards.
  • Instruct staff on company policies and procedures.
  • Review project submissions and inspect sites to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage inventory and order materials as needed.
  • Conduct daily meetings with trades to discuss project progress and client concerns.
  • Evaluate employee performance and address performance issues.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years' experience managing multiple trades in a large institutional setting or construction projects.
  • Background in management of construction trades or similar practices.
  • Knowledge of contract responsibilities at an overseas facility.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Working Conditions:

This position may be located in a war zone with harsh desert-like conditions. Temperatures can reach extreme levels during summer months. Employees must be willing to perform regular job requirements in this austere environment and deploy to Iraq for extended periods.
